The Nations League competition brought Andorra increased opportunities to win competitive matches and they did exactly that. They won twice in 2022 in their low-ranked group D.
Both victories came against Lichtenstein in both the home and away fixtures, also drawing with Moldova and at home to Latvia in a respectable tournament for them.
Andorra only has just 13 wins in almost 30 years of competing in international football, but come into this relatively confident.
They are the fifth-smallest nation in terms of population in UEFA, so will be up against it and delighted if they can draw against Romania.

Romania Summary
Romania failed to qualify for the Qatar World Cup and their last recognized friendly games came in November 2022.
In those two low-profile matches, they hammered Moldova 5-0 and lost at home to Slovenia 2-1.
The visitors have publicly stated that if they don’t beat Andorra home and away then they have no chance to qualify.
Romania captain Nicolae Stanciu is cleared to play and was the bold one whose comments will not have pleased the opponent in the build-up to their weekend meeting.
Romania’s recent form is not promising as they have lost their last three Euro qualifiers, including the last two on the road.
They will be set on a victory here to change that trend and anything less than three points against the lowest-ranked side in Group I will be a massive setback.

Moving onto the Asian handicap betting for this contest. Romania -1.5 is @ 1.88.
Looking at The Under/Over goal betting last of all. The line is set at 2.50.
The Over is @ 1.75 and the Under is @ 2.05. Betting the Over feels a little like betting Romania on the Asian handicap. the home side will want to make this a tough game and likely play for a 0-0, and Romani will not overstretch to win this by more than 0-2. Easy pass.
